A USB-bootable live system built for security and anonymity — ready for offline access to this content, with optional Tor / onion browsing.

What is Tails?

This project's Tails image is a self-contained build of Tails meant to run straight from a USB drive. Plug the prepared stick into a computer and it boots into a live environment completely separate from that machine's own hard drive — nothing about the host installation is touched, and pulling the USB out ends the session.

Tails ("The Amnesic Incognito Live System") is a Debian-based, security-focused operating system that avoids leaving a lasting trace on the host computer and can route all its traffic through the Tor network — useful for private browsing, safer access to onion services, or simply a clean workspace that doesn't depend on whatever OS the host machine is running.

This image is one of the more secure ways to reach the Rapture Kit 3.1 site, including fully offline with no network connection at all. With a network connection, Tor Browser is also available for reaching onion sites — see the TOR / onion address page for verified addresses to use once you're connected.

Why Tails Matters Here

Download the Pre-configured Tails RK Image

This pre-configured Tails image already has the Rapture Kit 3.1 site and Tor / onion access set up — download it, then use the Raspberry Pi Imager to burn it to a USB drive.

What you'll need: one USB stick of at least 64 GB dedicated to Tails (everything already on it will be erased), a computer that can boot from USB (typically x86 / Windows hardware), and enough time for the download and install.

Save the image to your computer first — not directly onto the target USB stick — then install the Raspberry Pi Imager if you don't already have it (the same tool used for the Raspberry Pi images).

Installation Steps

1. Download and save the Tails RK image to your normal Downloads folder — not onto the USB stick itself.
2. Install the Raspberry Pi Imager if you haven't already.
3. Open Raspberry Pi Imager and choose the file from Step 1 as a custom image.
4. Insert a target USB drive of at least 64 GB, select it as the destination, and write the image.
5. Once writing finishes, boot from that USB drive on x86 (Windows) hardware — at the first screen, Esc or F12 usually opens boot-source options, though the exact key varies by manufacturer. Tails will not touch your regular hard drive.

First Boot and Unlock

1. At the unlock screen, enter the Persistent Storage password JesusisLord! and select Unlock encryption. Give it a few seconds to unlock.
2. Click Start Tails at the top, and the boot continues with your Persistent Storage unlocked.

Connect to Tor (Optional)

1. For dark-web access, set up your local WiFi network in Tails the first time you connect — it will be remembered in Persistent Storage for future boots.
2. Once you're network-connected, choose "Connect to Tor automatically" when prompted. After Tor connects you can open Tor Browser right away or later.
3. Inside Tor Browser, check Favorites for the Rapture Kit onion link, or use a verified address from the TOR Links and Onion Addresses page.
4. You may briefly see an "installing additional software" message — that takes about a minute, so let it finish before continuing.

Using Tails With This Content

Local (offline) access: whether or not you're connected to Tor or a network at all, a local copy of the Rapture Kit is available from Apps → Education — click the RK icon and it opens in Firefox.

Firefox vs. Tor Browser: Firefox can reach ordinary (clearnet) websites, and so can Tor Browser — but only Tor Browser can reach the dark web and .onion sites.

1. Boot into Tails from the prepared USB stick and unlock Persistent Storage.
2. For offline use, open the RK icon under Apps → Education (Firefox).
3. For onion access, connect to Tor, open Tor Browser, and use Favorites or a verified address from the TOR Links page.
4. Paste full .onion addresses carefully and give pages extra time to load.

Always prefer the addresses published on this site over unofficial reposts, and copy them character-by-character.

Practical Tips

• Use a dedicated 64 GB+ stick: keep one stick just for this Tails image rather than mixing in other files.
• Remember Persistent Storage: unlock with the password each boot so bookmarks, WiFi settings, and bundled tools stay available.
• Keep a backup stick: a second cloned stick is a good safety net.
• Stick to the official image: avoid random "Tails" files from file-sharing sites — a compromised image defeats the whole point of using Tails.
